There are almost limitless ways to personalize and design your book. Personal touches and customizations are always welcome, so don’t hesitate to inquire. If you have seen a page or cover design that has a style or feel you would like to emulate and build upon, you can provide the title and I can view it online (if available), or you can send me a copy or screenshot for reference.

Basic interior format includes page sizing, title page, copyright page, basic contents page, chapter seating, chapter titling, page numbering, font styling, and paragraph justification. Customizations for formatting and design elements are available, including chapter-specific page headers, odd/even variable page headers, graphics, stylized contents pages, photo and/or illustration insertions and sizing, text box or table formatting, and other author requests. Complex documents containing tables, footnotes, endnotes, subheaders, indexes, and bibliographies are welcome. 

Cover design is highly subjective, so I work closely with my clients to achieve the design that best suits their vision. Some clients provide their own artwork, images, and preferred layout options. Some clients want a high level of design, while others prefer to keep their design simple. If you see something you like in the samples provided, we can emulate an existing cover style, mix and match style aspects from various covers, or we can start from scratch and work up a custom design. If there is a cover style you’ve seen on a book elsewhere with design aspects or a feel that you'd like to mirror, I can look it up, or you can send me a copy or screenshot of the image for reference. All digital layouts and formatting are set to your press's specifications and are delivered in PDF format.  Fees vary with page count and the level of design required. A customized estimate will be provided for your project. Minimum design fee (basic interior): $200, then $65/hour for further customizations.
